Description

You will lead quality assurance for voting device products, covering embedded systems, firmware, and networking components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute test processes, plans, and setups for embedded systems and device applications.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, solutions, and manual and automated test scripts.
• Manage QA project schedules, risk mitigation strategies, and defect tracking using HP Quality Center.
• Perform investigative testing on field issues and manage test data and environments.
• Mentor QA engineers and collaborate with Engineering and the QA Director to ensure federal and state certification compliance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software application testing experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience testing embedded devices.
• 3+ years of experience in a QA Lead role.
• Expertise in manual and automated test design for embedded systems.
• Experience testing hardware, firmware, OS, BIOS, and networking components.
• Proficiency with embedded systems, database architecture, and SQL queries.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of iterative test methodologies and requirement interpretation.
• Proven track record testing products for commercial sale.
