Design and implement architectural solutions for application modernization and cloud migration in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy application architectures using SOA, Event-Driven, MVC, and serverless patterns.
• Implement advanced CI/CD solutions to support cloud migration efforts.
• Integrate applications with third-party IAM, SFTP, middleware, and database solutions.
• Manage container orchestration and install DevSecOps tools on Kubernetes using Helm Charts.
• Maintain and configure WebSphere, Tomcat, and JBOSS environments.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, JSF, and Struts.
• Proficiency in SQL tools including PL/SQL Developer and SQL Plus with Oracle databases.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages: Groovy, Python, Shell, Ruby, Bash, or Perl.
• Experience with containerization using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes platforms like OpenShift or Rancher.
• Knowledge of middleware and messaging via WebSphere ND, WebSphere Liberty, and MQ.
• Competency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and LDAP.
• Ability to work with XML and integration frameworks like Django and Spring.
