Description

You will own the full lifecycle of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, from provisioning to scaling and troubleshooting.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage AKS cluster operations including node pool management, upgrades, and lifecycle tasks.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep for cluster and resource provisioning.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot cluster-level issues involving CNI, ingress, service mesh, RBAC, and secrets management.
• Optimize cluster observability and costs using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Deep expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) internals and production management.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, tooling, and scripting.
• Strong experience with Terraform and/or Bicep for Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Practical knowledge of monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of Azure platform services including Entra ID, ACR, and Key Vault.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience managing Kubernetes networking and service mesh configurations.
