Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable distributed cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability across AWS environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, managing networking, storage, and compute.
• Author automated deployments using Terraform and CloudFormation to provision and orchestrate AWS resources.
• Implement security controls, access management, and encryption to maintain compliance in cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across cloud infrastructure and distributed applications.
• Monitor, report on, and optimize system performance within the cloud ecosystem.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience with distributed applications at scale in AWS.
• Expert knowledge of AWS services and architecture patterns.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, DNS, WAF, CDN, and DDoS mitigation.
• Experience bootstrapping and automating complete Kubernetes environments.
• Demonstrated experience with Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with serverless computing (Lambda), AWS Batch Job, and EMR.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing multiple AWS environments and the broader AWS ecosystem.
