Description

Lead the design, deployment, and management of cloud-based application services and on-premise Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud environments across AWS and Azure, including customer on-premise Linux server installations.
• Automate cloud deployments using Terraform and manage software configuration with Ansible or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Build and maintain CI/CD solutions and monitoring/logging for container orchestration platforms.
• Collaborate with development and product security teams to implement security best practices and maintain software in the cloud.
• Develop run books and technical documentation to ensure effective incident response.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in cloud-focused DevOps roles, including prior experience as a Senior or Lead Engineer.
• Proficiency with Python, Java, PHP, and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Docker.
• Extensive experience managing AWS environments and distributed applications at scale.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab for continuous development pipelines.
• Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL.
• Experience with networking, firewalls, load balancers, and Web Application Firewalls.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker Swarm.
• Familiarity with FTP and file delivery mechanisms.
