Description

You will lead the deployment, scaling, and management of Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Kubernetes workloads, including controllers, operators, storage classes, ConfigMaps, and Secrets.
  • Administer stateful workloads using StatefulSets and persistent storage orchestrators.
  • Troubleshoot cluster issues involving networking, storage, and resource utilization.
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines using code and scripting.

Required Skills

  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and deployment models.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes Operator and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
  • Proficiency with Helm charts and deployments.
  • Experience with K8s CSI driver integration and Vault management systems.
  • Knowledge of persistent storage management for stateful workloads, such as Portworx or Storx.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
  • Ability to script in Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Experience managing Unix/Linux server administration.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD automation and Git.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Apigee Hybrid & X deployment models, architecture, and runtime management.
  • Hands-on experience with Rancher K8s platform and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience managing Apache Cassandra stateful sets within K8s or RKE.
