Description

You will own and drive the evolution of AWS and Kubernetes-based infrastructure, ensuring operational stability and continuous improvement.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Enhance infrastructure through planning, bug fixes, and technical support for the engineering team.
• Manage operational support for the solution and its technology stack.
• Drive infrastructure enhancements, including Kubernetes and database upgrades.
• Develop and maintain documentation detailing system operation and procedures.
• Execute deployments, including off-hours work on weekends as needed (6-9 times a year).

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure engineering.
• Expertise with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically AWS CDK.
• Experience with Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of AWS services: SES, SNS, Aurora Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis.
• Familiarity with GitOps principles and implementation.
• Experience with networking, including VPC peering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience guiding consultants.
• Understanding of scalability, cost, and delivery speed trade-offs.
