Description

Lead the DevOps practice by evolving technical competencies and coaching the engineering team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Evolves DevOps competencies through hands-on technical leadership and team education.
• Implements Kafka and data streaming architectures.
• Migrates legacy SOAP APIs to REST APIs.
• Monitors code pipelines and reviews the existing tech stack.
• Manages platforms for volunteer, community, and charitable giving events.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in a leadership or coaching capacity.
• Strong proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience implementing Kafka and data streaming.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience using Jira for project tracking.
• Ability to manage API migrations from SOAP to REST.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
