Description

You will lead production support and DevOps efforts for vendor and in-house systems supporting Investment and Risk functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production support issues and monitor system health via alert monitoring tools to respond to outages.
• Perform root cause analysis for production incidents using logs, monitoring tools like New Relic, and AWS troubleshooting.
• Investigate and resolve technical errors, providing workarounds or escalating to development teams with clear remediation steps.
• Document processes and procedures related to production support and DevOps tasks.
• Work with IT partners to automate and simplify software delivery processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technology, preferably supporting Investment and Investment Technology solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and general scripting languages.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Console, S3, Lambda, Redshift).
• Experience troubleshooting UNIX-based applications.
• Bachelor degree in computer science or a related field.
• Ability to analyze and understand highly complex systems and data flows.
• Strong communication skills for resolving technology and business problems within cross-functional groups.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Mendix applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of markets, asset management/asset classes, and related accounting flows.
