Description

You will lead the design and implementation of large-scale distributed architectures and own platform stability, scalability, and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale, complex software systems and distributed architectures.
• Ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance across AWS cloud environments.
• Anticipate edge cases and clarify technical requirements to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for platform automation.
• Implement monitoring and observability strategies including SLI/SLO and event correlation.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience as a DevOps or Platform developer.
• Extensive experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Strong command of YAML and version control using GitHub.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Expertise in distributed systems and performance optimization.
• Proven ability to build maintainable and scalable software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Experience creating ephemeral environments.
