Description

Lead a large-scale EDI technology migration from OpenText EDI to IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.

Responsibilities

• Develop mapping requirement specification documents and comprehend source EDI maps for reference.
• Build new EDI maps and communication profiles within the IBM EDI environment.
• Execute unit, SIT, and trading partner onboarding testing while resolving defects promptly.
• Coach and direct EDI developers, including reviewing code to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Contribute to go-live planning, production support, and customer knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of EDI work experience.
• Proven experience with EDI migration projects, specifically targeting IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
• Hands-on experience maintaining or implementing IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
• Deep knowledge of EDI maps including 110, 204, 210, 211, 212, 214, 215, 219, 250, 300, 301, 304, 310, 315, 810, 816, 820, 824, 850, 855, 856, 860, 864, 945, 990, 997, 835, 865, 404, and 410.
• Expertise in EDI solution architecture.
• Ability to develop quality technical documentation and follow CMMI or ISO standards.
• Experience managing and directing other EDI developers.

Preferred Skills

• Interest in exploring AI-generated code, automated map translation, and automated testing for technical object conversion.
