Description

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded systems and applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level software development focusing on Linux internals, RTOS, and microcontroller programming.
• Implement and optimize communication protocols for embedded platforms.
• Integrate security best practices into the embedded software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using oscilloscopes and analyzers.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to Agile development and peer review processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C and C++.
• Extensive experience with Embedded Linux and Linux internals.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience implementing communication protocols.
• Competency with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, analyzers, and IDEs.
• Experience using version control and defect management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Yocto Linux.
• Experience working in regulated environments, such as the medical device industry.
