Description

Lead the design and development of embedded software systems within a multi-disciplinary team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software using C and C++ for real-time operating systems.
• Implement multi-threaded applications, interrupt servicing, and inter-process communication.
• Debug communication protocols between devices and processors.
• Manage the full software development life cycle and peer review processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in embedded systems design.
• Expert proficiency in C and C++.
• Hands-on development with real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks, Nucleus) and Linux.
• Experience with preemptive, multitasking RTOS environments.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design for embedded applications.
• Practical knowledge of communication protocols such as USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, CAN, or SIP.
• Proficiency with GIT or Clear Case and Clear Quest.
• Experience programming for Digital Signal Processors (DSPs).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of LTE, specifically 3GPP release 8-10.
