Description

You will lead embedded software development and technical direction across the entire product lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for teams of 5 or more developers.
• Manage client interactions, including requirement refinement and scope definition.
• Develop, compile, run, and debug C/C++ bare-metal and firmware tests targeting ARM CPUs and DSPs.
• Perform unit and end-to-end testing of SW/HW features, including performance and power characterization.
• Collaborate with System Validation, Software, Firmware, and Hardware teams to execute test plans and build automation scripts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years developing C/C++ based embedded software and firmware.
• 3+ years providing technical leadership for engineering teams.
• Experience with bare-metal/firmware development targeting ARM CPUs/DSPs.
• Proficiency in C++, CMake, and Makefile usage.
• Experience developing low-level device drivers for peripherals and sensors.
• Familiarity with RTOS concepts including threading, synchronization, and scheduling.
• Experience using Python for automation and integrating code.
• Experience with custom hardware bring-up using schematics and layout files.
• Experience debugging lab systems using logic analyzers and scopes.
