Description

Lead embedded firmware development for safety systems, sensor integration, and automation stacks, owning the transition from lab prototypes to real-world deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and iterate on embedded firmware, driving design reviews for hardware and firmware reliability.
• Conduct high-level system analysis, design, and test procedure development.
• Perform code reviews and assist with software architecture decisions.
• Provide technical guidance for system concepts and debugging using JTAG.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in core embedded systems development.
• Proficiency in embedded C, C++, and C#.
• Experience with embedded Linux at the kernel level.
• Hands-on micro-controller and micro-processor firmware programming.
• Knowledge of communication interfaces: Ethernet, EtherCAT, CAN, RS-232/422/485, I2C, SPI, UART.
• Strong hardware and software debugging skills.
• Proficiency with Git, CMake, CI, gdb, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Experience working within agile development practices.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of RTOS paradigms including concurrency, real-time deadlines, mutual exclusion, race conditions, and synchronization.
