Description

Lead a distributed QA team focused on ETL, database, and functional testing for data warehouse solutions. Own the quality lifecycle from planning to defect resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and design test documentation including Validation Plans, Test Plans, and Validation Reports.
• Manage a team of QA engineers, mentoring new hires and overseeing junior-level test engineers.
• Derive high-level SVT estimations through collaboration with cross-functional groups.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans in coordination with Managers and Technical Leads.
• Work with IT and business groups to support quality and acceptance testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on ETL and DB.
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle, including smoke, database, functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Proficiency with test documentation tools including ALM, Jira, or ADO.
• Ability to work with IT developers on system enhancements and new functionality.
• Strong technical communication skills for conducting cross-functional sessions and presentations.
• Proven ability to document defects and work with teams toward resolution.
