Description

Lead the design and delivery of Java-based microservices for supply chain and retail workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Implement and maintain asynchronous messaging pipelines using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Manage data access patterns and integrations with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, planning, and delivery ownership.
• Troubleshoot and optimize microservices for reliability and performance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java 17 or Java 21.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with IBM OMS.
• Experience with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Skills

• Domain experience in E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or Retail.
