You will architect and maintain enterprise-level financial applications, owning system design, data flow, and component interaction for capital markets platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable enterprise applications with a focus on trading workflows and trade lifecycle across equities, fixed income, derivatives, OTC, and FX.
• Develop and debug complex issues using C++ and Python, ensuring precision in financial contexts.
• Architect system components, data flow, and interaction patterns that reflect the scale and complexity of financial systems.
• Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
• Maintain strong SQL proficiency for query optimization, indexing, and core database interactions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a background in capital markets or financial systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++ with independent debugging capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Python in a financial or capital markets context.
• Deep understanding of SQL, including joins, aggregations, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in DevOps tooling: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployment strategies.
• Solid grasp of software development best practices, including clean code, design patterns, and event-driven architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the FIX protocol for trading systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools and large language models (LLMs).
