Lead enterprise architecture strategy, governance, and modernization for complex systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership for EA teams including Corporate Products, Transportation, and Business Architecture.
• Establish operational rhythms with standups, intake triage, prioritization, and architecture decision support.
• Define and implement lightweight EA governance, standards, and engagement models.
• Align EA with modernization initiatives and integrate AI-driven architecture methods into workflows.
• Mentor architects to elevate architectural thinking and capability across product teams.

Required Skills

• 20+ years total experience in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or modernization leadership.
• 15+ years leading EA teams, defining frameworks, and driving enterprise-wide programs.
• 10+ years applying structured architecture methods (DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF, BEA, ETP).
• 15+ years in systems engineering for large-scale system design and modernization.
• 10+ years designing service-oriented and microservices-based systems.
• 7+ years leading cloud transitions and secure adoption on AWS and Google Cloud.
• 5+ years implementing Zero Trust Architecture aligned to NIST ZT standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years providing strategic architecture guidance in federal environments or executive advisory.
• 3+ years applying AI to architecture products and decision support.
