Description

You will design the architecture for the Enterprise Data Warehouse and lead the technical direction of the data engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design the overall EDW architecture and oversee the data modeling process to support organizational analytical needs.
• Lead the integration of data from various source systems by designing and developing ETL/ELT processes.
• Optimize EDW performance through query tuning, index design, table partitioning, and caching strategies.
• Build scalable solutions using micro-service architecture to enable a self-service data environment.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and IT stakeholders to define and extend the enterprise data model.
• Maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries, ERDs, and technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in business insights, advanced analytics, data analysis, or consulting.
• 7+ years of experience as a data warehousing professional.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Architect.
• 2+ years of experience in a project or team lead role.
• 5+ years of experience architecting ETL data flows using at least two enterprise tools such as SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS), SSIS, Informatica, Ab Initio, or IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Analytics.
• Expertise in data querying, analytics, and identifying business risks or opportunities through data.
• Proficiency with Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server database.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data platforms including Hadoop, GCP, AWS, BigQuery, or Azure.
• Experience designing reporting semantic layers or using tools like IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI.
