Description

Lead a distributed QA team in executing ETL, database, and functional testing. Own the full testing lifecycle from planning to execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team of QA engineers focused on ETL, database, and functional testing.
• Design and maintain test documentation, including validation plans, test plans, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to derive high-level System Verification Testing (SVT) estimations.
• Mentor junior engineers and resolve team-level technical or operational issues.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans for technical leadership.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on ETL and database testing.
• Hands-on expertise in smoke, functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Deep knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and specifically Scrum.
• Proficiency in test documentation tools such as ALM, Jira, or Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Experience collaborating with developers on system enhancements and business requirements.
• Ability to organize and present technical information in clear, concise formats.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading distributed engineering teams.
• Background in data validation and complex database structures.
