Description

Lead a distributed QA team focused on ETL, database, and functional testing. You will own the testing lifecycle from design to execution, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team of QA engineers performing ETL, database, and functional testing.
• Design test documentation including Validation Plans, Test Plans, and Validation Reports.
• Derive high-level SVT estimations by collaborating with cross-functional groups.
• Mentor junior test engineers and resolve team escalations or technical issues.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for technical leads and managers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on ETL and database testing.
• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and the full testing life cycle.
• Proficiency in smoke, database, functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience working with IT developers on system enhancements and new functionality.
• Expertise in test documentation tools including ALM, Jira, and ADO.
• Proficiency with SDLC and Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new software concepts quickly.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for clear presentation of information.
• Ability to work independently and meet hard deadlines.
