Description

You will lead product development cycles for embedded applications on residential smart devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead all stages of development, including investigation, design, coding, and testing.
• Design and implement features for embedded applications within a multithreaded RTOS environment.
• Develop inter-process communication using various communication protocols.
• Debug defects, core dumps, and memory corruption to provide effective solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews following established coding standards.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development, debugging, and testing.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded applications.
• Experience developing software within an RTOS environment.
• Experience with multithreaded programming, RF/wireless protocols, and inter-process communication.
• Practical experience working with command-line interfaces.
• Proficiency with tools such as debuggers, emulators, DevOps pipelines, Wireshark, or tcpdump.
• A Test-Driven Development (TDD) mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IP networking, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with wireless technologies including Wi-Fi, BLE, and Sub-Gig.
