Description

Lead firmware development for microcontroller-based controllers in programmable AC/DC power products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive firmware development from requirement study through design documentation, implementation, and testing.
• Develop and review project plans for firmware delivery, tracking milestones and weekly progress.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to coordinate product development and integration.
• Support debugging and issue resolution using lab tools to ensure firmware meets performance specifications.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in embedded firmware development for processors and microcontrollers.
• Proficiency in Embedded C and Embedded C++ with adherence to real-time system coding standards.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller architecture, interrupts, and timing fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with SPI and UART communication protocols for embedded controller interfaces.
• Ability to read datasheets and schematics for firmware validation and debugging.
• Experience with Communication Protocols and firmware testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Linux experience for embedded development workflows.
• RTOS experience for real-time task scheduling and embedded system integration.
