Description

Lead the FPGA design team in prototyping and validating new hardware platforms while developing reference design material.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, managing project risks and status reporting.
• Translate high-level requirements into technical design specifications and actionable work packages.
• Develop FPGA implementations for internal and third-party platforms to demonstrate IP products.
• Execute RTL creation, modification, and implementation constraints to build accurate system representations.
• Own engineering release flows with a focus on design automation, efficiency, and quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in FPGA engineering and technical leadership.
• Strong RTL skills in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
• Deep knowledge of the FPGA design flow, including RTL design, simulation, synthesis, and place & route.
• Proven experience with ASIC/SoC prototyping in FPGA.
• Ability to develop accurate project plans involving multiple cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with Tcl and Perl scripting for design automation.
• Excellent technical documentation skills and spoken/written English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Xilinx UltraScale+ devices and Synplify tool chains.
• Knowledge of DDR memory sub-systems and Arm IP or AMBA standards.
• Familiarity with Arm assembly, C, and debugging sophisticated embedded software and hardware.
