Description

You will lead software engineering teams through the design, development, and implementation of large-scale applications serving tens of thousands of users.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, coding, code reviews, and testing for new applications and existing enhancements.
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements and decompose them into actionable project tasks.
• Manage technical resources, including hardware, software, licenses, and services.
• Drive transformation initiatives toward new software architectures and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Mentor junior developers and guide matrixed resources to ensure code quality and deployment standards.
• Mitigate technical risks and identify sequencing for integrated services and technologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software design, development, testing, and requirements management.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Angular for front-end development.
• Experience with Confluent Kafka.
• Hands-on work with Azure Cloud and Azure KV.
• Database experience with Postgres DB, SQL, ADLS, and Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of architectural practices, design, and dev/sec/ops policies.
• Ability to estimate technical costs and development effort for application features.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Developer and IT Security Essentials certifications.
• Healthcare IT Payer or Pharmacy Benefits Management experience.
