Description

You will lead the implementation of client-side Consent Management Platforms (CMP) and build backend services to support privacy compliance strategies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement consent solutions to ensure adherence to GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations.
• Create API backend endpoints to store consent information and develop custom webhook triggers for Consent Preference Stores.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs for internal data consumers using Python Django, NodeJS, or similar frameworks.
• Configure custom purposes for preference management and map existing datasets to API endpoints.
• Fix complex tracking and development issues within the consent and integration workflows.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience specializing in backend services.
• Proficiency with Python Django, NodeJS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience implementing client-side Consent Management Platforms (CMP) and Cookie Compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager and tagging technologies.
• Proven ability to maintain fault-tolerant systems in production environments.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with technology risk and compliance platforms like OneTrust.
• Knowledge of consent tagging within Shopify and WordPress solutions.
