Description

Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of complex software components, services, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Design software components and services, iterating on design documents with architecture peers.
• Build end-to-end deployment pipelines and maintain high code quality during project delivery.
• Integrate software with distributed systems and shared APIs to improve service reusability.
• Mentor junior engineers and peers to develop technical expertise across the team.
• Partner with product management, data science, and UX design teams to collect requirements and solve problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and building complex software systems end-to-end.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (C, C++, Java, C#, Python) and one frontend language (React).
• Strong foundation in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with API design, database design, and runtime complexity analysis.
• Practical knowledge of unit, functional, and performance testing methodologies.
• Experience with system design for both new and existing systems.
• Understanding of security, privacy, production monitoring, logging, and alarming.
• Experience supporting production systems through on-call rotations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical design discussions.
• Background in distributed systems architecture.
