You will design and build scalable software systems while strategizing the future state of the technical ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design elegant technical solutions and advocate for engineering best practices.
• Guide the team through the full lifecycle from inception to production using hands-on examples.
• Solve complex problems and tackle technical ambiguities independently.
• Recommend technical paths by evaluating the pros and cons of different architectural approaches.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Core Java, including deep knowledge of the JVM memory model, performance tuning, and concurrency.
• Proficiency with Spring and Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native tools including Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Helm.
• Strong DevOps practices and experience with container orchestration.
• Experience with SQL databases, specifically Postgres.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
• Experience with event streaming technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Reactive Programming.
• Familiarity with Redis or similar caching layers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the payments industry.
• Knowledge of functional programming languages.
• Experience with cloud migration patterns such as CDC, ACLs, or hybrid deployments.
