Description

You will design and scale software systems within a large technical ecosystem, guiding the team through the full lifecycle from inception to production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design elegant technical solutions and strategize the future state of the technical ecosystem.
• Guide the team through the full lifecycle using hands-on examples to implement engineering best practices.
• Solve complex problems by independently innovating and tackling technical ambiguities.
• Evaluate technical paths by analyzing pros and cons to recommend the best way forward.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise in Core Java, including the Java memory model, JVM performance tuning, and concurrency.
• Strong experience with Spring and Spring Cloud.
• Proficiency in SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (Cassandra).
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Native tools including Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm, and AWS.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, TDD, automated testing, and chaos engineering.
• Knowledge of event streaming technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Ability to work with Reactive Programming and hybrid deployment strategies like CDC and ACLs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the payments industry.
• Familiarity with Redis or similar caching mechanisms.
• Knowledge of functional programming languages.
