Description

You will lead the architecture, development, and implementation of ecommerce features and applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement ecommerce features in collaboration with Engineering, UX, and Product Management teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams in event-driven programming best practices and technical direction.
• Build proof-of-concept executions to establish new standards and advance developer experience.
• Develop and execute unit and functional test plans to verify results.
• Manage and mentor engineering talent while providing technical guidance on development methodologies.
• Prioritize technical debt to stabilize existing properties and modernize the ecommerce platform.
• Integrate and troubleshoot SaaS solutions and third-party architectures.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and microservice architecture.
• Experience with GraphQL or REST API development.
• Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Experience implementing Content Management System integrations.
• Ability to reference UI specifications in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Knowledge of JSTL Tag Libraries and jQuery.
• Experience using Atlassian Toolset (Jira/Confluence).

Preferred Skills

• React, NextJS, or Kotlin development experience.
• Experience with GULP, Webpack, or Sass/Less.
• Tag management software experience such as Google Tag Manager or Tealium.
