Job Description

• 7–8 years total experience — C#/.NET Core (versions 8–10)
• Microservices, cloud-native deployment, SQL Server, business analyst partnership
• Azure experience — no cloud experience is a hard no
• Containers as primary deployment model
• React preferred; significant legacy Angular in the environment (Flutter nice-to-have)
• Hands-on experience using LLM coding agents — they run Claude Code and OpenCode today; goal is using AI tools, not building AI apps
• Must be smarter than the tool — knows when the AI got it wrong and course-corrects; produces with it and analyzes/fixes the output
• Technical leadership in design, architecture, implementation, and deployment across both on-prem and cloud-native environments 

• Cloud migration is the headline initiative — early stages, but OKRs call for major applications in production this year
• Set technical direction and guardrails: prevent legacy work that creates cloud drag, keep new builds on the right path
• Modernization + net-new blended — lift and shift what can't be made cloud-native, then phase pieces out and strangle in favor of cloud-native implementations

Applications 

• Owns ~10 applications: SIS, LMS integrations, admissions, clinical placement, custom internal apps, and more
• Key integrations: Anthology (SIS), Canvas, Core LMS, Salesforce
