Description

You will lead data engineering initiatives within a GCP environment, focusing on large-scale migrations and pipeline development.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute ETL processes and data migrations using GCP services.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and manage administrative tasks including project setup, user authorizations, and job scheduling.
• Write and test programs using Unix Shell scripting and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Product Managers to prioritize technical tasks.
• Perform unit testing and manage support services and change management via ServiceNow.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT industry experience.
• Expertise in BigQuery and advanced SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and Google Composer.
• Proven experience with ETL and data migration workflows.
• Proficiency with Git workflows and SaaS-based tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Experience working in agile application development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Basics of Python or Java.
