Description

You will lead data engineering efforts on Google Cloud Platform, designing scalable pipelines and optimizing complex SQL queries.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using GCP services.
• Optimize and write complex, high-performance SQL queries within BigQuery.
• Develop data processing logic using Python for automation and manipulation.
• Apply data warehousing principles to design effective data architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex data challenges.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience.
• Expert proficiency in SQL.
• Deep knowledge of Google BigQuery features and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Composer.
• Proficiency in Python for data scripting and API interactions.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
• Ability to analyze and design solutions for complex data problems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Airflow (Composer) orchestration.
