Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing frameworks on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native data engineering solutions using GCP services.
• Optimize data quality, governance, scalability, and performance across enterprise data platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Architects to define technical solutions and architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within Agile teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and improve efficiency.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven track record building ETL/ELT pipelines and distributed data systems.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Clinical Trial, EMR/EHR, or Healthcare data platforms.
• Understanding of Healthcare data standards, workflows, and regulated environments.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
