Description

You will lead data engineering efforts within a GCP environment, focusing on large-scale migrations and ETL processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end ETL processes and data migrations using GCP services.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and manage administrative tasks including project setup, user authorizations, and job scheduling.
• Write and test programs using Unix Shell scripting and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Prioritize development tasks in coordination with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Product Managers.
• Manage support services and change management workflows via ServiceNow.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT industry experience.
• Mastery of GCP services: BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Google Cloud Composer.
• Advanced SQL and Oracle PL/SQL programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with ETL and data migration workflows.
• Proficiency with Git workflows and SaaS-based tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Experience working in Agile application development environments.
• Ability to perform unit testing and Unix Shell scripting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Foundational knowledge of Python or Java.
