Lead generative AI initiatives as a remote contract data scientist.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets and create statistical models to drive business decisions.
• Conduct data analytics and visualization to assess various business scenarios.
• Manage algorithm flow across multiple workstreams within single repositories.
• Build APIs and debug DevOps repos to support model deployment.
• Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, and model building.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Deep understanding of NLP, including text classifiers, re-rankers, and topic modeling.
• Experience with Transformer-based architectures such as BERT, RoBERTa, and T5.
• Working knowledge of LLMs including ChatGPT, GPT-3.5, OPT, and BLOOM.
• Experience with reinforcement learning, prompt engineering, and hallucination mitigation.
• Proficiency with distributed computing systems like Hadoop and Spark.
• Ability to build APIs and manage debugging within DevOps repos.
