Description

Lead the design and development of generative AI and agentic systems, owning the full lifecycle from technical solutioning to deployment and mentorship.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable MVP components and user stories while supporting backlog prioritization and story mapping.
• Architect and implement solutions across APIs, databases, and AWS services, ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor developers through pair programming and XP practices, conducting daily knowledge transfers and troubleshooting.
• Design autonomous agents using orchestration frameworks and integrate foundational models with safety mechanisms.
• Build scalable data lakehouse architectures using open table formats and infrastructure as code.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in ML, NLP, and AI system design, with 1-2 years in Gen AI or Agentic AI.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS/SNS, Aurora Postgres, and CloudWatch.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Proven experience with agentic frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex for building autonomous agents.
• Practical experience with foundational models (Claude, Llama variants), including prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Terraform Enterprise for automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Concourse and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch) for RAG implementations.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg and medallion architecture principles.
• Experience with data processing tools like Glue and EMR.
