Description

Lead the technical direction and implementation of cloud-native applications in Florida, United States. This is a fully remote role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and architecture discussions to evaluate implementation tradeoffs.
• Write high-quality, efficient, and testable code while defining team standards for development and system design.
• Conduct thorough code and design reviews.
• Partner with product managers and the engineering team to deliver products iteratively.
• Operate, maintain, and deploy production applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust.
• 3+ years of experience working in a public cloud environment delivering complex application deployments.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including security services and best practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and container infrastructure.
• Experience with RDBMS, Time series Databases, and Pub/Sub systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud-native observability and management tools.
• Familiarity or experience with eBPF.
