Description

You will manage and scale Hadoop clusters in production environments, ensuring stability and performance for operational needs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Scale production clusters in high-availability environments.
• Manage memory allocation and queue distribution across Hadoop and cloud-era systems.
• Implement performance optimizations for SQL workloads.
• Execute patch upgrades across Hadoop systems.
• Monitor system health using standard monitoring tools.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Hadoop administration.
• Proficiency with Hadoop and Hive systems.
• Experience with Spark (basic to intermediate).
• Strong SQL skills with a focus on performance optimization.
• Experience with Sqoop, Oozie, and other external Hadoop tools.
• Practical experience with memory management and queue allocation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
