Lead the design and implementation of data flow jobs within Hadoop environments, translating complex requirements into detailed specifications and uncovering actionable insights from vast data stores.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure Hadoop data flow jobs.
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design specifications.
• Analyze vast data stores to uncover actionable insights and support Hadoop data environments.
• Implement development solutions and maintain data flow integrity.
• Prepare project status reports and formal presentations independently.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data development.
• Hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Big Data implementation and support.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical requirements.
• Capacity for extended travel and/or relocation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience presenting technical findings to stakeholders.
