Description

Lead the design and technical execution of motor and control cabinets for industrial plants and machines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design motor and control cabinets according to customer requirements and local standards.
• Engineer electrical schematics, network concepts, and cabinet layouts using ECAD systems.
• Lead project teams on technical aspects of Motor Control Panel and Motor Control Center design.
• Manage interfaces between purchasing, manufacturing, electrical installation engineering, and commissioning.
• Resolve technical issues during design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning phases.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in a project engineering role.
• Degree or technical/vocational diploma in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering.
• Proficiency with ECAD systems such as EBase, Ruplan, Eplan, or AutoCAD.
• Experience in hardware engineering and cabinet design.
• Working knowledge of UL 508A electrical standards.
• Ability to manage risk and make decisions under tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30% of the time.
