Description

Lead data analysis and reporting environments to drive business insights. Design, manage, and secure data sources while maintaining metadata integrity. Build, diagnose, and optimize statistical, predictive, and prescriptive models. Develop and validate data models and BI dashboards. Translate complex findings into graphical illustrations and written reports for stakeholders. Troubleshoot reporting database environments and manage code versioning using Git or Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage reporting environments, including data sources, security, and metadata.
• Create efficient, reusable SQL code for data manipulation and analysis following best practices.
• Build, diagnose, and improve the performance of statistical, predictive, and prescriptive models.
• Develop and validate data models and business intelligence dashboards.
• Troubleshoot reporting database environments and manage code versioning using tools like Git or Bitbucket.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data science or data warehousing roles.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, specifically T-SQL and SQL Server.
• Strong programming skills in R or Python.
• Experience with SAS and MATLAB.
• Hands-on expertise with Tableau for data visualization.
• Deep understanding of DBMS and Microsoft BI tools.
• Ability to work with large datasets to perform descriptive and diagnostic analysis.
• Strong mathematical and statistical modeling capabilities.
• Experience using Visual Studio and spreadsheet tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Mahout for analytical processing.
• Familiarity with Qlik for business intelligence.
