Description

You will lead embedded system product development, focusing on design standards, system-level validation, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system-level specifications and embedded software architecture using established design patterns and coding standards.
• Develop highly optimized, secure code and integrate firmware with applications for complex hardware and software systems.
• Mentor and manage a team of embedded software engineers, setting FAST goals and providing technical guidance.
• Collaborate with IP owners and architects to debug hardware and software components.
• Own the release process, including preparing release notes and participating in release strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in Embedded C programming for system-level development.
• Strong C++ programming skills with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with Assembly programming.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Perl, or Tcl.
• Knowledge of CANalyser and CAPL.
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog and Verilog.
• Experience working within Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work with domains such as Storage, Connectivity, Media, Graphics, Boot, Clusters, Infotainment, or ADAS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hardware/software co-design and debugging.
• Ability to publish white papers on innovation techniques.
