Description

You will lead the design and development of scalable microservices and production-grade RESTful APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs.
• Manage parameterized configurations using AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and automated deployments.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing and documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience building production-grade RESTful APIs using HTTP protocols and JSON.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, specifically Systems Manager Parameter Store.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as ScyllaDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and REST best practices.
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and mocking frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
• Ability to work independently and proactively identify technical blockers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JIRA.
• Familiarity with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
• Exposure to GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
