Description

You will lead the technical design and architecture of secure applications and supporting systems across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design and architecture advice to internal teams to ensure secure application development.
• Define secure mechanisms for critical business functions and establish security requirements for global teams.
• Liaise with Hardware Security Module (HSM) vendors to manage product lifecycles, roadmaps, and new functionalities.
• Assist in the strategy, standards, and architecture for cryptography, PKI, and key management within the SDLC.
• Collaborate with operational teams to capture device performance data and model usage and reliability patterns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering and application security.
• In-depth knowledge of cryptography, including encryption, hashing, key management, digital certificates, and TLS.
• Proven experience in architecture and design for web-based environments, mobile applications, and web services.
• Technical competency in security engineering with hands-on experience or relevant qualifications.
• Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Solaris, AIX, or Windows environments.
• Ability to translate security and risk management terminology into business terms for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with PKCS#11 and HSMs.
• Strong understanding of information security, risk, and data privacy within digital commerce.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience in application development.
• Experience with cloud security, PKI systems, and retail/payment HSMs.
