Description

Lead security engineering efforts for web application protection, incident response, and digital forensics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead computer security incident response and conduct technical investigations including post-incident digital forensics.
• Design, document, and maintain complex security solutions covering networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication, and endpoint security.
• Provide security consulting on large projects to ensure conformity with corporate information security policies and standards.
• Identify security vulnerabilities, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives.
• Lead a team to achieve objectives and collaborate with professionals across all management levels.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies.
• 4+ years of experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Ansible (Playbook/Role Development), PowerShell, or Python.
• 3+ years of in-depth knowledge and troubleshooting of HTTP-based web applications.
• 3+ years of experience implementing WAF signatures or virtual patches.
• 2+ years of advanced understanding of network concepts including DNS, Firewalls, and Load Balancing.
• Practical experience with change and incident management in medium to large enterprise environments.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Basic understanding of TLS, Certificates, and mTLS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Financial Services sector.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with strategic planning and translating leadership vision into executable initiatives.
