Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of secure information systems while ensuring compliance with federal and organizational security standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Integrate security requirements into IT systems and project lifecycles.
• Ensure all systems comply with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and federal regulations.
• Mentor junior and mid-level ISSE team members and guide daily task execution.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and project teams to embed security in every stage.
• Resolve cross-team technical and operational challenges.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. accredited institution.
• 8+ years of professional experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE).
• CISSP certification required (concentration in ISSE, ISSA, or ISSM preferred).
• Strong understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Experience developing secure information systems in a federal or regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience integrating security requirements into IT systems.
• Proven ability to direct tasks and provide leadership to engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP concentration in ISSE, ISSA, or ISSM.
• Clear communication and strong documentation skills.
