Description

You will lead onsite PC refresh deployments and serve as the primary point of contact for large-scale hardware implementations.

Responsibilities

• Execute PC refresh cycles by removing old hardware and installing new desktops and laptops.
• Manage data integrity by backing up, protecting, and restoring user data during transitions.
• Follow established checklists to ensure all necessary software and settings are configured for end users.
• Maintain accurate records by updating documentation and completing required e-install forms.
• Act as the onsite lead technician to support Project Managers and Deployment Leads during statewide implementations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware deployment and technical support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, Active Directory, and VPN.
• Proficiency in backing up, removing, installing, and restoring PC data.
• Advanced knowledge of desktops, laptops, iPhones, and peripherals.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite, printers, and scanners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and customer service.
• Must be currently located in Indiana.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Industry recognized certifications such as A+, Network+, or MCSE.
• Understanding of Internet technologies and client/server technology.
