Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers through complex technical challenges.
• Develop and maintain backend software using Ruby on Rails.
• Design and implement REST APIs for system integration.
• Solve complex client problems through resilient technical troubleshooting.
• Apply clean code and testing principles to all development tasks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a lead or management role.
• 3+ years of experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency in REST API development.
• Experience with system integration and backend software development.
• Experience working in Linux and AWS-based environments.
• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL API.
• Background in workforce management solutions or the Quick Service Restaurant and Retail industries.
• Experience with enterprise software implementation in cloud-based environments.
